WHY PEOPLE LOVE CONTRAST THERAPY
Warmth, cold and calm — with purpose
Deep relaxation
Many people use sauna and cold-water routines to unwind, reset mentally, and create a sense of calm after busy days.
Post-exercise recovery
Cold-water immersion is often used to help reduce soreness after training and support recovery when used thoughtfully.
Circulation & heat response
Sauna bathing creates a strong warming response that many people find restorative and energising as part of a wellbeing routine.
Sleep & wellbeing
Used mindfully, heat and cold can become a grounding ritual that supports rest, recovery, and a stronger sense of wellbeing.
This experience is intended for wellbeing and recovery, not as a medical treatment.
WHAT TO BRING
Come prepared for comfort
Please bring a towel and robe, water bottle, and a tow float. Swimwear or a wetsuit is optional, as are flip-flops or water shoes. For safety, all swimmers must use a tow float — these are available to hire or purchase on-site if needed.
SAFETY & WELLBEING
Your wellbeing is our priority
Before & after your dip
Always acclimatise slowly, enter the water gradually, and warm up gently afterwards. Be mindful of afterdrop — your body can continue cooling after you leave the water.
Warm up well
After your swim, warm up around the fire pit, inside the sauna, or with a hot drink from our café. Take your time and listen to your body.
Take extra care if
You are pregnant, prone to fainting, dehydrated, or have a medical condition that affects heat or cold tolerance.
If you have a medical condition or are unsure whether heat or cold exposure is suitable for you, seek medical advice before booking.
