Yurt Update (12.06.26)

An update from The Lakes at Lavender Hall.

Unfortunately, due to concerns around the structural integrity of the yurt we had recently acquired for our Wild Wellness space, we have made the decision to take it down.

Whilst this is not the news we had hoped to share, the safety and comfort of our guests, teachers and community will always come first.

We are now exploring alternative structures for this space and are working to find the right long-term solution. At this stage, we do not yet have a confirmed installation date, but we are aiming to move through this unexpected hiccup as quickly and thoughtfully as possible.

As a result, our May weekly class schedule will be postponed. This does not include our Blue Moon event on 31st May, or any other events and experiences that do not require the yurt/tipi space.

If your booking includes use of the yurt/tipi space and you have not already been contacted, you will hear from us by the end of this week. If your booking does not require this space, it will continue as planned unless you hear otherwise from us directly.

In the meantime, our Wild Wellness space will still be very much in use. We will be continuing with outdoor and lakeside experiences where possible, including lake swimming in our newly created wellness lake, our new ice baths and wood-fired saunas, and time to gather in our communal seating area around the fire pits.

Our new Summer Social Sauna event, held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings throughout May, will go live on our website at midday tomorrow.

We are also now welcoming enquiries for private summer social events. Whether you are looking to book exclusive use of the sauna and ice baths for your own group, celebrate a birthday, bring a gym or wellness group together for a swim, sauna and ice bath experience, even add on a food package from our café, we would love to hear from you. We are hoping to fully relaunch from June onwards, though this is still to be confirmed.

Summer Social Sauna Sessions

Introducing our new Summer Social Sauna at The Lakes at Lavender Hall.

A relaxed evening gathering in our new Wild Wellness area, created to bring people together by the water as the warmer evenings begin.

Join us for time in our new lakeside wood-fired saunas, with access to our newly created one-acre wellness lake for a refreshing dip or swim, alongside our new ice baths for those wanting a deeper cold-water experience.

The fire pits will be lit, with s’mores over the fire, light refreshments, and plenty of time to slow down, connect and enjoy the space in good company.

Whether you’re coming with friends, as part of a group, or on your own, this will be a warm and welcoming experience for all. A chance to meet like-minded people, ease into the evening and enjoy the simple ritual of heat, cold water and conversation by the lake.

A gentle, social sauna experience for anyone looking to unwind, reset and spend a summer evening by the lake.

Sunrise Yoga & Dip Session

Start your day with a peaceful sunrise yoga session in our new Wild Wellness area, overlooking the lake at The Lakes at Lavender Hall.

This early morning outdoor wellness experience includes a nourishing 60-minute vinyasa yoga flow, designed to gently awaken the body, clear the mind and leave you feeling energised for the day ahead.

After yoga, you’ll have the option to enjoy a refreshing swim or dip in our Wild Wellness lake, or make use of our ice baths for a revitalising cold water experience. Our outdoor shower will also be available for use.

Optional cold water guidance will be available from our cold water practitioner, Katie, for anyone who would like extra support, advice or reassurance before entering the water or using the ice baths.

Whether you come alone or with friends, this is a calm and welcoming way to move, breathe and connect with nature on a beautiful early summer morning.
